Transformed in His Image

When we get saved, our spirits are renewed and we get to share in life with Christ. It is not us who live but Him who lives in us.

Many are the times in this journey,(salvation) coz it ain’t a destination, we fall and stumble. At times you feel beat down by that and see that we ain’t righteous for God.

However we look at the wrong side. The accuser banks on that and accuses us to corrupt our real identity. We are righteous not because of what we do but because of Jesus.

Religion tells us we are not righteous or we are righteous because of the right things we are to do and those we aren’t to do. Our behaviour does not determine our identity in Christ.

In salvation, focus on Christ in you, your relationship with him. Do not let your behaviour tell you what you are and what you are not. Protect your identity from the accuser.

I have met someone who changed his mind about salvation just because he messed up. We ought to learn to treat Satan for what he is, not allowing him to control our identity, using your behaviour.

We have been made righteous, and we will not behave in that way hehe, but we ought to believe that we have been made righteous in Christ.

James 5:16
Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed.

Not to be condemned but to be reminded of your identity of Christ by other brethren.

If you let your good behaviour determine who you are as a Christian it won’t last long, you ought to find your identity in him, transformed in his image.
